Networking is fun, especially for small business owners since it’s the perfect time to meet and mingle with other people who share your interests and can help grow your business. Aside from the great company, you can enjoy good food and drinks, and pick up some freebies along the way.

If you don’t believe me, try attending one of these events in West Palm Beach, Florida and be prepared to have a good time! Tick the ones you like:

☐ Networking and Support Women in Distress

by the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of South Florida
Thursday, April 11, 2019
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Craving fresh, fun Mediterranean cuisine? Want to volunteer for a good cause? Here’s your chance to hit two birds with one stone. Drop by Agora Mediterranean Kitchen at 2505 North Dixie Highway as the FPA partners with Women in Distress to help victims of domestic abuse.

Bring lots of business cards for you’ll surely meet a lot of interesting people there. Be generous at the same time by supporting the FPA’s Welcome Home Basket Donation Drive. You don’t have to spend a fortune to show you care. All you need to do to join the event is to bring any of the following:

  • Body soap
  • Cleaning wipes
  • Deodorant
  • Dish soap
  • Hairbrush/Combs
  • Household cleaning items
  • Paper towels/Napkins
  • Q-tips
  • Razors
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Sponges
  • Spray cleaners
  • Toothpaste
  • Towels
  • Washcloths

If you have money to spare, you may donate any amount to help raise awareness about dating violence among young people — another FPA project.

FPA also needs volunteers for its financial literacy classes. For details, contact Lisa M. Marsden at [email protected].
